Since the opening of the New World Center in 2011, the New World Symphony has defined presentation of classical music in public spaces. The building is equipped with a 4K projection system and immersive Constellation sound system by Meyer Sound, offering an unparalleled experience for simulcasts of concerts. A signature, introductory film precedes each presentation, each iteration of which I have had the privilege to design and score.

As the aesthetic of those intro segments has changed, so has the accompanying sound and music. What began as purely sound design experimentation has today evolved into thematic storytelling, all within less than 45 seconds of runtime.
